Prerequistes

  Introduction to Financial Markets, or a familiarity with securities transactions involving equities, debt instruments, options and futures, and the basic features of these instruments.
Objectives   Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1.Understand the special procedures required to handle corporate actions, tax treatment, registered accounts, mutual funds, foreign exchange transactions, and securities lending.
2.Appreciate the business consequences relating to communications risk for corporation actions, tax risk for RRSPs, and credit risk for securities lending.
